Border Harriers & AC women prove to be the best 10k running team in the North!
Taking pre-race favourites, Leeds by surprise at the Northern 10k road championships held as park of the popular Ribble Valley 10k, our women stole the show with Border Harrier’s Olivia Mason fresh from International honours at the European Cross Country taking the individual bronze with a scintillating time of 34.00. Hot on her heels was one of the club’s recent signings, Esme Davies, home from university in the US, only one place and two seconds behind Mason. Making up the team was Kate Maltby in 35.34 in 12th place and second in her V35 category. Not far behind was Amy Kelland with a storming 37.40.
A great effort from the men too with their team coming in a strong 7th place!
